hard to find original Bighorns as 75% or more are body permit ones sad.gif

great engines - good for 250k at the least on a single build

What's the difference between Bighorn & a trooper....

What are the numbers they use for it?

I have seen bighorns with 32- Auto Gear also...Is it possible?

well
thanx guys,

But i have seen 65- big hornes in very good condition

and they do well on everywhere(off and on road)

How to find out weather its original Big horn or Trooper or a Panther

And if we buy a panther how to convert in to big horn and what will be the price and where would be the ideal place.

I do not think that a panther can be converted to a bighorn. But you may be able to fix an bighorn body to a panther. May be costly 10 - 15 laks and legally there are issues to be addressed .

I think except for panther...the other two are more or less the same
The troopers were the first lot and they were exported as big horns to other markets
Panther was made in indonesia so that's somewhat different from the other two...
a friend has been using a panther for over 12 years now...bought brand new i'm told and he is extremely happy with it.
Even his wife likes it and raves about the comfort levels. But this specimen is very well looked after

on a side note...when you guys say an engine is good for xxxk's after a build...does this mean a complete overhaul with new pistons etc?

BigHorn!
panther is for of an mpv than anything else... great for city driving and also no too serious offroading..
if you want a more offroad oriented one...i'd say the BigHorn
A more city styled one and comfier ride...a panther should do...
and to me...personally....the bighorn looks far better than the other two. but that's just personal preference smile.gif
