Hi guys,
I'm looking for a car and would like to know your suggestions for my budget of 1.2 million. A manual transmission is preffered. Besides that, anything less that 11 years old would be good. BTW i'm 6'4" so I would need something that I can fit into. This post has been edited by jdnet: Jul 29 2010, 12:57 PM -------------------- 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 150k miles and counting

Hey guys, Thanks for all of your info. After much debate I decided to go for a Ford Mondeo MK3. I know that the second hand market for the car is pretty bad but I'm not really worried about it. I do like the space in the car (specially for a big guy like myself) and it makes me feel like i'm driving my dodge intrepid once again. I'm also pretty confortable with working on fords so thats a big plus. The only dislike I do have is the fact that you have to use the key to open the hood instead of a lever in the car. Will be picking up the car in the next day or too so I will be sure to add some pics here. Once again thanks to everyone who replied and thanks Harshan for your insight. great deal and congrats.. it's a great machine and the best thing is it's built on the Jaguar plat form. I can very well remember this incident about few years back where a mondeo came right behind inches length to my boot. Had to step on the brakes suddenly and so hard due to some stupid ignorant pedestrian and the next thing ran across my mind was I'll get a bang from behind. I was wrong, I only heard a small creek and mondeo made to a firm yet quick and steady standstill in a fraction of a second and driver didn't mind that at all as it was nothing unusual. -------------------- Harshan Senadhira

Timing belts, tranny fluid and filter etc. I can handle it all so I won't be wasting a cent on mechanics.
