I inquire the price of a Honda Fit Aria from few importers and they all told me it's around 3 million (3- 3.2). I feel like this is an increase of the price even affter this new tax reduction. Could anyone pls tell me how much was it, say few months ago? My budget is tight and so bit worried :-(

Since 2009 Fit Aria were not sold in Japan. And these days there are almost no Fit Aria in the Auctions as well. As one of Japanese car exporter known to me said to me, SL buyers are chasing Fit Aria due to the image of Fit Aria as a fuel economical vehicle. So this price might be a result of the natural market effect.

If you are willing to spend 3 million, you can go for Belta, Tiida or Wingroad.

Machang may i ask what is the point of finding out the past selling price? if multiple seller quote a simialr figure then that's the current market price for that car.

As Nissan_fan correctly said ealier auction prices has steadily increased on certain models due to high demand. for example a 1000cc Belta now cost more than a 1300cc one. I highly doubt the prices will comedown anytime soon. what'll happen most likely is the degree of price increase will reduce over time and we'll see a more stable price structure by end of this year.

Solution: Dont be picky or narrow minded about 'japanese' reconditioned cars. As soon as you look out of that box, you'll see a LOT of other stuff around.

I bought FIT ARIA 2007 model for 2.8M just after the tax reduction. FIT ARIA is a very good car in present market bcoz it does more than 12Km per litter even in fast drive. Engine, gear box, body condition and all the other things are OK and also you should make sure to do regular servicing.
Due to price increase in Japan now people selling FIT ARIAs for 3.0-3.2M. My personal recommendation to go for a 1.5cc sedan type bcoz secondhand market of wagons like Wingrods are bit lower than sedans.
